Morocco Chefchaouen Door 24 with cat and city and country text, Travel Print, Art Print, Travel Poster, Home Décor
The Blue city Chefchaouen in Morocco is famous for all the houses and shops painted different shades of blue. There are many versions of why the houses are painted blue in the city of Chefchaouen. Some say is the symbol of hope for Jews, others because it repels mosquitos. Regardless, while I was walking on these streets, it was hard not to imagine myself being in a mystical city, different from anywhere I had been before. I found people were shy to the camera. Fortunately, at the turn of every corner Chefchaouen presented itself with a unique beautiful twist of blue and I couldn’t help myself but to fall in love with its doors and its little alleys full of surprises. This is what I was able to capture. Enjoy it!
